Feeby we acquired from Jordan Ritz of Ritz Land and Cattle. Feeby is a quality animal with some very good old genetics. When Jordan got her in a package deal with some other Highlands it was not disclosed that she had mastitis. We told him that we would take a chance on her and if need be supplement her calves . We found out that she did have a dead quadrant in her udder from mastitis but has been able to raise 2 successful heifers and 1 steer for us without having to supplement! They do wean a little lighter than their peers but catch up quite quickly in a month or 2 after being weaned and grow into beautiful animals! We are truly blessed to have her contributing quality of animals that we are able to produce. Feeby is to be bred to STR Homeland for a fall 2024 calf.
